thursday should be fine with the oap's as long as it's 9pm onwards. ( i've got a funeral to go to down in leeds,but should be back by then). what numbers can you get ? 4 vs 4, 5 vs 5, 6 vs 6??!! let me know so i can get our team sorted.

ReplyDeleteJust to remind everyone that all matches should be played by Sun 15th, and no later than Tue 17th or they will be recorded as a 0-0 Draw. The final round requires all the fixtures to be completed before it can begin.

Game wise we dont mind but Halo3 would be fun but we dont have enough people as 4 of the peeps who play it are away or rrod. Reason we didnt have anybody for the MVP match.

The games the clan mostly play and def get teams for are COD4, CODwaw & gears 2 as they are the most popular games and most members have those on MWG...

ReplyDeleteIt looks very unlikly that I will get a team together for Forza 2 due to the clan don't want to play Forza 2.
I'm no longer arranging any league matches and so if you don't here back from someone else before the deadline then you can have a 4-0 win.

I understand the reason we went for Forza2 or PGR4 is that all other games so far have been shooters and there just doesn't seem to be enough other games types played. I haven't had a chance to speak to mayhem yet but getting people together to play another game type may well be a problem but as I said, I'll try and talk to mayhem and see if we can get any troops to play another shooter, I or mayhem will get back to you via this comments section a.s.a.p. Can you confirm what games you could play please from this list:

ReplyDeleteI'm asking my troops now which one they prefer but have to say nobody really wanted to play yet another FPS; this whole league seems to have become an FPS league which is rather disappointing, anyhoo, will reply a.s.a.p. with choice. Whichever is chosen, may I suggest to keep things simple, we play 4 x team deathmatch (core), 2 map choices each, time limit as opposed to point limit and map chooser gets the top team; easy to work out and manage, that ok?

i hear ya , we have done a racer already and would also like to try different game genres too ,Fifa ? for instance , but its too short notice for that now and im sure as everyone had a Cod somewhere ..

ReplyDeleteNot looking good for getting 4 players together for CoD4 or 5, had 4 people lined up for Forza 2 but with the switch to FPS only 1 person has come forward (I'm so dosed up on medication I couldn't shoot straight to save my life, literally, :-D ) so even me helping out wouldn't have been much help. Doesn't look like this is going to go ahead tonight. I'm still checking XBox.com / Live and our forum thread on this game and if it hits 9pm and 4 people are not available I'll post on here to that effect.
That then gives us until sometime on the 17th to nail this one (ever thought of playing a match of UNO btw) so mayhemisle77 or myself will obviously be in touch again to resolve this.

MWG, I think we will need to forfeit. We already have a match on Tuesday vs S4G and I could not guarantee assembling a team in time for tonight as I will probably be away from my PC most of the day.

I have said it will be a game of cod4 or cod5 and for them to be online before 9pm to finalise arrangements with an intended start time of 9pm.
